A Scottsdale, Ariz., wedding videographer's futuristic idea earned himself $1 million Sunday.

STORY: 'Puppy Love': 2014 Ad Meter winner

Andersen's commercial was produced on the smallest budget of any of the finalists, and cost only $300 to produce the 30-second advertisement.

In the ad, a young boy lures a man into a homemade time machine, telling him the contraption is powered by Doritos. The boy ultimately cons the man into handing over his bag of chips.

This was the fourth year that Andersen entered the contest, but his first time making it to the final round.

Andersen said that he got the idea for the ad after watching "Back to the Future" with his son, and decided to build a time machine like in the movie.

Andersen did not know that his ad was a winner until it aired during the Super Bowl Sunday night. The $1 million prize was announced on Monday morning.

The second place winner, called "Cowboy Kid" was also played during the game. "Cowboy Kid" received $50,000 as second prize.
